Top quality materials and very fast service. Extremely pleased with the results. I obtained 4 estimates and Paul definitely stood out. All contractors offering the same 50 year shingles and other materials but Paul’s price was competitive and he made the process easy. Definitely recommend!

3 Kings Roofing and Construction was used to install an Owen’s Corning roof on my home. Working with this company was a very positive experience. They competitively bid the roof. Installation was done to high standards and attention to detail. Extra effort was made to respect and protect my property. JOB WELL DONE! I highly recommend this company.

Insulation

Comfort and Savings All Year Round

If you’re battling drafty rooms in the winter or a sticky, hot upstairs in the summer, your attic is likely the culprit. 3 Kings Roofing and Construction improves your home’s thermal envelope using premium Owens Corning insulation. This high-performance material helps stabilize your indoor temperature, making it one of the smartest investments you can make for long-term energy efficiency.

Lower Bills: By keeping conditioned air inside, you reduce the workload on your HVAC system, leading to lower monthly gas and electric costs.

Consistent Comfort: Eliminate hot and cold spots in your house. Proper insulation keeps temperatures stable across all rooms.

Ice Dam Prevention: Adequate insulation keeps heat in the living space and out of the attic, which prevents snow on the roof from melting and refreezing into damaging ice dams.

Services

Insulation Top-Off

In many older Indianapolis homes, the original insulation has settled over the decades, falling well below modern building codes. We can blow in a fresh layer of Owens Corning insulation directly over your existing material to boost your R-value and efficiency.

Removal & Replacement

If your old insulation has been damaged by water, mold, or rodents, we can safely remove the contaminated material, sanitize the attic floor, and install fresh, clean insulation.

Options

Blown-In Fiberglass

We exclusively install Owens Corning fiberglass insulation. It is non-combustible, moisture-resistant, and maintains its fluffiness—and R-value—over time without significant settling. It’s excellent for filling tight spaces and oddly shaped voids to stop heat loss.

Cellulose Insulation

Made from recycled paper products treated for fire resistance. Cellulose is dense, which helps dampen sound from outside and provides excellent resistance to airflow.

Air Sealing

While not "insulation" itself, this step is crucial. We seal gaps around light fixtures, pipes, and top plates with foam before insulating to stop air leakage physically.

FAQ's

Frequently Asked
Questions

We've provided answers to many of our most frequently asked questions. Have a different question for our team? We're happy to help! Just send us an email at info@3kingsroofingandgutters.com.

What is the difference between "batt" and "blown-in" insulation?

Batt insulation comes in pre-cut rolls of fiberglass and is great for open walls during remodeling. Blown-in insulation involves a machine spraying loose fiberglass or cellulose into spaces. Blown-in is often superior for attics because it fills irregular gaps, corners, and around cross-beams more effectively than rolls.

Does insulation help with noise?

Absolutely. Insulation acts as a sound absorber. adding insulation to exterior walls and attics reduces outside noise (like traffic or storms), and insulating interior walls can dampen sound transfer between rooms, making for a quieter home.

How much insulation do I really need in my attic?

It varies by region, but most modern building codes recommend an R-value between R-38 and R-60 for attics. If you can easily see your floor joists in the attic, you likely only have R-19 or less and would benefit significantly from adding more.
